With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons), a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Mining Engineering, Seikka Founder Mark Lambert has spent the past four years juggling his professional career while bootstrapping Seikka from the ground up.
A self-professed boating, camping, and fishing enthusiast who loves spending time outdoors with his family, Mark conceptualised Seikka as much for himself as for others. Identifying a gap in the market, and a greater need for flexibility surrounding ownership of lifestyle assets and the use of them, Mark realised that collectively we have the potential to access everything we need to attain the lifestyle we desire.
With his unique world view and flair for strategic thinking and planning, Mark has leveraged his engineerial skills to find technical solutions and solve problems for Seikka users. His passion, persistence and strong desire to make a difference and add value to the world is the driving force behind Seikka.
Living and breathing the Seikka dream, Mark, his wife Nicole, and their three children have been living ‘on the road’ in their family caravan since the beginning of 2020.
Father of four Jimmy Rae holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Project Management, and boasts a rich career history combining both skills. His strengths in management, technical knowledge and problem-solving saw Jimmy develop a world-class security system for Seikka, which includes insurance, ID checks, facial recognition, pre and post hire inspections and peer reviews.
Tired of the typical nine-to-five work life and feeling that life wasn’t being fully lived, Jimmy jumped on board with Seikka knowing it could make a real difference in the lives of everyday people, like him.
Jimmy also lives and works ‘on the road’, with his family in tow. He enjoys fishing, camping, and homeschooling his kids. Prior to travelling, one of his favourite pastimes was restoring classic motorcycles.
